THURSDAY, MARCH 24/1966 ALOONA (lows) ADVANCE—3 ALGONA'S TOM CLAUDE seems to be getting the worst of .it in this'state tournament action.; Dale Teeter is No. 50 in -white while No. 43 for Ames is Merrill Anderson. TOM CLAUDE goes in for a driving layup late in the game last Thursday as Ames and Algona did battle, No. 35 attempting to block the shot is Ames' Rich Agard. DALE TEETER (No. 50) goes up for a shot from the side No. 42, sophomore Tom Jones, moves in for rebounding position during the Ames-Algona game. No. 55 for Ames is Ron Watson. PAVE WALKER of Algona and Mike Bliss of Ames go up for the ball during last week's state tournament. ALGONA'S CARD section spelled out their favorites (oops, isn't the "G" upside down) as Algona met Ames in ihe first round of the state basketball tournament last Thursday.
