Saturday, Sylvester Stallone Republic Wire Services Big names did not lead to big prices when actors Robin Williams and Sylvester Stallone and actress Farrah Fawcett auctioned old cars in Newport Beach, Calif. A weekend car auction that ended Sunday brought in $2 million, organizers said, but the highest price $66,000 was for a Mercedes-Benz owned by a non-celebrity. About 7,000 people attended the auction at the Newport Marriott Hotel, and 500 cars were sold. Fawcett's customized Chevy Corvette brought $12,000, auction director Drew Hardin said. Stallone's gold 1958 Chevrolet Im-pala went for $8,500, and his 1956 Chevy Nomad, a rare collectable, drew only $6,300.

An Austin Healy owned by Williams sold for $4,700. Hardin said, however, that a 1931 Cadillac Phaeton sold for $53, 000. SOCIAL OUTCAST The 1983 Social Register has dropped the listing of Mr. and Mrs. Claus von Bulow, Kcpulilir Wire Services The Federal Communications Commission Monday published a decision by its legal review board granting a construction permit to Hassayampa Broadcasting for a new FM radio station in Wickenburg.

The board said Hassayampa should be preferred because its two owners do not own any other media properties. A competing company, Shoblom Broadcasting owns KUUK-AM, the only radio station in Wickenburg. STUNG Lawyers for a theater chain that is seeking $5 million in damages for being stuck with the 1978 box-office flop, The Swarm, claimed Monday in Austin, Texas, that studies conducted by Warner Bros, studios showed the star-studded film waR destined for commercial failure. U.S. District Judge James Nowlin ruled the studio had acted in bad faith by failing to turn over market research reports on the movie to lawyers for Presidio Theaters.

He delayed the trial until Feb. 28,1983. NEW QUARTERS A year after who were listed in the 1982 edition. Since then, von Bulow was convicted in Rhode Island of attempting to murder his wife, the former Martha "Sunny" Crawford, a Pittsburgh utilities heiress who has been in a coma in a New York hospital for almost a year. BERLE-ESQUE Milton Berle, who is about to celebrate his 70th year in show biz, told People magazine he is like "the actor who opens the refrigerator door.

When the spotlight hits him, he does 20 minutes. I can still do what I did when I was 20 years old."
