Neilan, 73, who held degrees in theater, architecture, economics and international affairs, and served in slate and federal government posts, died Feb. 9, 1984, at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Miss Neilan, of 4132 N. Fifth was a former chief draftsman for bridge and interchange design with the Arizona Department of Transportation. She was born in' Cambria, and moved to Arizona from Somerset, 25 years ago. In 1926 at age 16, she was the youngest graduate of Scion Hill College in Greens-burg, Pa. She earned several academic degrees, including a bachelor's degree in' theater and master's degree in architecture from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

She also received master's degrees from the University of Chicago School of Fyconomics and Georgetown University School of International Affairs. She was a former section chief with the U.S. DcpartmentTf Commerce in Washington and former chief draftsman of Neilan Engineers in Pittsburgh. Shortly after mov-ing to Arizona, she became chief of the highway drafting department for the Johan-nsen and Girand engineering firm. Sunday's 5:30 p.m.

10, 1984, at a Valley hospital, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cordy Cannon Funeral Home, 310 N. Litchfield Road, Goodyear. Mr. Pearce, of Avondale, was born in Oklahoma and moved to Arizona a few years ago from California, where he was a plastic fabricator for the McDonnell Douglas Corp.

Survivors include his wife, Tina daughters, Sherry and Terry; son, Buddy six sisters; three brothers; and three grandchildren. EwartW.Orr i Ewart W. Orr, 65, a retired Army captain, died Feb. 10, 1984, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center.

Mr. Orr, of 2401 E. Mercer Lane, was-born in Missouri and moved to Arizona 40 years ago. He served in World War II and the Korean War and received a Bronze Star. He was a Mason and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; daughter, Claudia Nibbelin; son, Robert and three grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas, Military and Masonic services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in North Mausoleum Chapel at Greenwood Memorial Park, 2300 W.

Van Buren. Bernard G. Aros Bernard G. Aros, 79, who boxed professionally as the "Battling Siki" in the 1920s and 1930s, died Feb 9, 1984, in Phoenix. Mr.

Aros, of 724 W. Jackson, was born in Ixs Angeles and lived in Arizona mosj; dtiis life. He was a one time flyweight champion in Arizona. He was a retired employee Af a salvage company. Survivors include his sister, Rena Rodriguez.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center, 1020 W. Washington, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St.

Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N. Third St. Judge C. Bailey SUN CITY Judge C. Bailey, Ml, ho was an auditor and executive in mining and sugar production indiRtris, died Feb.

10. 1984, at his residence, 10250 N. 109th Ave. Mr. Bailey was born in Turkey Cove, and moved to Arizona from Durham, in 1965.

He graduated from Emory Henry College in Emory, and was employed by the Louisville Nashville Railroad in his earlier years. He held interests in coal and gold mining. He also had been affiliated with Holly Sugar Co. in Colorado and almond ranches in Chico, Calif. He was a Mason and member of the Sun City Square Club and First United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Arizona Poetry Society and started writing poetry at age 96. Survivors include his wife, Hildred; daughter, Theresa Sercek; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Menke Funeral Home, where services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Aivin E. Teasdale Alvin Ernest "Al" Teasdale, 83, a retired order assembler with the Borden Dairy died Feb. 11, 1984, at his Phoenix residence. Mr. Teasdale was born in Toronto, Ontario, and moved to Arizona from Michigan in 1952.

He lived in Tempe before moving to Phoenix in 1965. He formerly managed a farmer's market in Michigan Survivors include his daughter, Murine Skinner; son, John; six eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Carr Memorial Chapel, 26 E. Fifth Tempe, where services will be Tuesday.

Rovey, was born in Sheridan, and had lived in Arizona 40 years. He received a bachelor's degree from University of Arizona and graduated from the UofA College of Iaw. He was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and Phoenix Country Club. He had been chairman of the civil practice and procedure committee of the Arizona State Bar since 1982 and was vice president of the Pacific region executive committee of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. He also served as chairman of the committee on practice and procedure for the International Association of Insurance Counsel.

Mr. Mills also was treasurer of the Maricopa County Bar Asosriation and secretary-treasurer of the Arizona chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was past, president of the Phoenix Association of Defense Counsel. Survivors include his wife, Jeannine; daughters, Michelle and Marcy; son, Mike; mother, Thelma; and two sisters. 10, 1984, in Cottonwood. Mrs. Rowe, a resident of Black Canyon City since I960, was born in New Hampshire and moved to Arizona in 1917. Survivors include her husband, Theron daughter, Faith J. Reading; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Bernardo, 66, of 502 E. Roeser, died Feb. 11, 1984, at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital. Mrs.

11, 1984, at Bosweii Memorial Hospital. Mr. Pollock was born in New York and moved to Arizona from Fort Smith, nine years ago. He was a Shriner, a Lion and member of Temple Beth Shalom. Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughter, Diddy Goldberg; son, H.

Dodson Earl George Dodson, 80, a retired accountant, died Feb. 10, 1984, at John C. Lincoln Hospital Health Center. Mr. Dodson, of Phoenix, was born in Hunter, and moved to Arizona in 1964.

He was a memlier of the Cost Accounting Association of Omaha, and Holiday Spa Golf league. Survivors include his wife, Madeline; daughter, Maryclare Jacobson; and three grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sunnyside Mortuary, 614 E. Townley.

Mamie J. Butler Mamie June Butler, 82, of Phoenix, died Feb. 10, 1984, at John C. Lincoln Hospital Health Center. Mrs.

Butler was born in Grand Prairie, Texas, and moved to Arizona from California 14 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a Sunday school secretary. She also was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include her sister, Agnes Jean. Services will be 10:30 a.m.

Dinkins, 76, a former medical secretary, died Feb. 11, 1984, at Boswell Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Dinkins, of 10661 Tropicana Circle, moved to Arizona from her native Michigan 14 years ago. She was a member of the altar guild at her church, Lutheran Church Women and the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, William daughter, Mrs. Bartley Butmore; two sisters; a brother; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, 11025 111th Ave. Lundberg's Gotden Door Chapel, Youngtown, made arrangements.

Arnold Ray Wilson TEMPE Arnold Ray Wilson, 53, an employee of Salt River Project, died Feb. 10, 1984, at his Tempe residence. Mr. Wilson moved to Arizona from his native Burley, Idaho, 25 years ago. He was a high priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include his wife, Annette; daughters, Kerma Solorzann, Lorna Peterson and Susan Wilson; sons, Robert, Steven, Wayne and Brad; mother, Harriet; three brothers; and nine grandchildren. Opitz Lillian W. Opitz, 86, of Phoenix, died Feb. 10, 1984, at Phoenix General Hospital. Mrs. Opitz was born in Gordonville, and moved to Arizona two years ago.

Ella P. Parker Ella Pearl Parker, 79, who was a pricing clerk for a laundry, died Feb. 11, 1984, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mrs. Parker, of 1554 W.

Monroe, was born in Elba, Ohio, and moved to Arizona 50 years ago. She attended Capitol and Bethel United Methodist churches. Survivors include her daughter, Mabel A. Parker. Memorial services will be 1 p.m.

Helen Stone Hanscomb, 92, of 6359 E. Rose Circle Drive, died Feb. 10, 1984, at Skyline Ranch in Lavecn. Mrs. Hanscomb was born in Portland, Maine, and moved to Arizona from Massachusetts 17 years ago.

Survivors include her son, John E. Valley of the Sun Mortuary, Phoenix Chanel, arranged private services. David Lee DeLong APACHE JUNCTION David l-ee DeLong, 41, a construction worker, died Feb. 10, 1984, at a Valley hospital. Mr.

Deling, of Apache Junction, was born in Illinois and moved to Arizona six years ago. Survivors include his wife, Dolores; daughter, Amanda; sons, David and Duane; stepdaughter, Lynnette; mother, Frances Raridan; two sisters; and two brothers. Services are private. William M. Lazear William M. Lazear, 64, a retired plant mechanic with the federal Bureau of Reclamation in Yuma, died Feb. 9, 1984, at Humana Hospital Desert Valley.

Mr. Lazear, of 3217 E. Hartford, was born in Wheeling, W.Va. He moved to Chicago from Yuma after retiring in 1976. He had been a Phoenix resident since June and was a member of Phoenix Community Church.

He served with the Army Corps of Engineers in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Loretta daughters, Jacklyn Dontes and Joette Burke; son, William and seven grandchildren. Memorial services will be 9 a.m. today at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Green-way.

Contributions to the American Heart Association are suggested. Rossie Helene Petersen SUN CITY Rossie Helene Petersen, former co-owner of a drugstore at Forest Lake, died Feb. 10, 1984, at her residence, 10501 Mission Lane. Mrs. Petersen was born in Algona, Iowa, and moved to Arizona 15 years ago.

She graduated from McPhail School of Music and Northwest College of Speech Arts in Minneapolis. In the 1930s she was editor of the Wabasha Standard newspaper in Minnesota. She was a member of the Sun City Players. Survivors include her husband, Richard; daughter, Nancy R. Wallace; two sisters; and four grandchildren.

Mass will be said at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joachim and St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave.

Heritage Funeral Chapel, Youngtown, made arrangements. Contributions to the Leukemia Society of America are suggested. George R. Terrill SUN'CITY WEST George Raymond Terrill, 60, a retired dispatcher with Trans World Airlines, died Feb. 11.

1984, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Mr. Terrill, of 17806 129th was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Arizona from Dix Hills, N.Y., five years ago. He worked 33 years for TWA, retiring in September. He served in World War II.

11, 1984, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Miss Nelson, of 101 N. 38th No. 116, was born in Flaxton, N.D., and moved to Arizona from Philadelphia in 1976. Survivors include her sisters, Carrie Schultz, Othilia Hauge and Edith Smith; and brother, David Nelson.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 1844 E. Dana St. Friends may call from noon until services at the church.
