McMahon, 20, air- 'man third class, son of Mrs. Charles Recce of Middlctown road, has been selected to attend a technical course for electronic at Chanutc Air Force 111., after completing basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex.

McMahon, who enlisted February 1960, graduated from Media High School in 1958 and attended a stale teachers college. Harvey L. Banks, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Banks, 824 W.

"7th Chester, recently enlisted in the Army and is receiving basic training at Ft. Hood, Tex. William H. Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Robert E. Martin, 301 Garden City, is undergoing Marine Corps recruit training at Parris Island, S.C. Martin, a former student at Chester High School, enlisted for four years of service. Upon completion of recruit training, he is scheduled for transfer to Camp Lejeune, N. for individua combat training.

Webster will direct the fund- drive to raise $300,000 for construction of a school for landicapped children in Delaware County. The school will be located on a tract at Fair Acres in Lima. and Mrs. Mat King, 119 Reaney Chester recently was assigned to the 6314th Maintenance Squadron at Air Base, Korea. King was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base, transfer to the Far East. The is part of the 314th Air a unit attached to the 5th Air Force. He is a former! student of Chester High School.

IM. John Kindt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustavo Kindt, 433 E. 4th Chester, is at home on a 20- 'day leave after completing Marine Corps advanced combat training at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

Kindt enlisted in December 1959 and completed recruit training March 31 at Parris Island, S.C. At the expiration of his leave, Kindt will report to the Tank Battalion at Camp Lcjune. He. will be trained in the maintenance and operation of combat tanks. Before enlisting lie was employed at Afar tcl's Market in Springfield.

Ensign Stephen W. Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip L. Carter of Middlctown, and husband of (he former Joselta Wilkes of Kansas City, recently com pleted the machine gun batteries course at the fleet gunnery school, San Deigo Naval Station, Calif.

Carter, who entered the Navy in June 1959, is a graduate of Ifens- selaer Polytechnic Institute and was employed by Sun Oil Co. Pvt. Jerome L. Sullivan, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs.
