Cleo Kautsch officiating. Pallbearers were Art Heiden- PJ'm'mVJV, The Adult Education program of the Algona Community schools begins Monday evening, January 10. Mrs. Schumacher died January 4 in Algona at her son's iome. She was born September 22, 1892, the daughter of the ierman Ohms, at Fenton. June 24, 1914, she was married to Frank Schumacher at Lotts Ireek. He died two weeks ago, Dec. 21, 1965. They had retired from the farm in 1944. Surviving are three sons and a daughter: Harold, Whittemore; Herman, Sioux Falls, S. D,; Edwin, Algona; Viola, Mrs. Bert Sherman, Lake Andes, S. D. There are four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two brothers and two sisters also survive: Edward Ohm, Lone Rock; Walter Ohm, Palm Springs, Calif.; Mrs. Art Dreyer, Fenton, and Mrs. Clara Pompe, Algona. Three brothers and three sisters are dead. Ex-Kossulh man dies in Minnesota A former Kossuth county resident, Lloyd L. Gross, 82, died at Grand Meadow, Minn, recently. He lived on a farm near there. Survivors include his wife, Sibyl; three sons, a brother and two sisters. Funeral services for him were held Tuesday, Jan. 4. regular home economics class for senior boys under Miss Dannewitz. Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 30, at the Methodist church with Rev. Frank Considine officiating. The Blake Funeral home was in charge. Sylvia Stambaugh was born July 14, 1897 at Cedar Rapids to George and Anibel Stanv baugh. In 1916 she moved with her parents to a farm near Corwith. She was married on February 3, 1920 to Arthur Scheffelman at Fort Dodge. They farmed for many years south of Corwith and moved to Corwith in retirement in 1952.
