Co. in Algona returned Tuesday from Winnipeg, Canada and announced that his firm will handle the "Versatile" line of Tractors and Solp Propelled Swathers. Tho Versatile ., Mfg. Co., off Winnipeg, Canada, manufacture* the largest farm, tractors on the market today. They manufacture only Urge 4-wheel drive units, in 3 different H.P. sizes — • 125 H.P. Gas, • 118 H.P. Diesel and a 150 H.P. Diesel. Mr. Taylor stateY his reasons for taking on this new line were as follows: 1. Versatile Mfg. Co. is the oldest manufacturer of 4 wheel drive tractors, in largo sizes and the price off those tractors is from 25 - 40% lower in price than other competitive models on tho U. S. market. 2. The market demand for this size tractor, with its low price, will increase steadily every year, due to the increase in size of all farming operations. 3. Although tho market demand is relatively small for haying equipment, the self propelled swather — with crimper attachment, has been very popular in Iowa. Over 200 of these units have been sold in Iowa during tho past 3 years. Again the high quality of this unit and its low price has made the Versatile Swather a very popular machine. Taylors are very happy to add this lino to their present popular Case, Kowanoo and Bohlen lines of Farm Equipment. . Mr, Harold Welters, who has had 5 years experience selling and servicing Versatile equipment, has joined tho Taylor Impl. Co. to assist in sales.
