Mrs. John Van Gundy reviewed the book "Cathedral in the Sun," by Ann B. Fisher. The story is about the life of the Indiana, Mexicans, Spaniards and Americans located around the Mission of San Carlos of Carmelo near Monterey, Cal. The period of history dates from 1812 to 1888.

This book was compiled from data received from i-e- latives of the people who actually lived during that time and is con! sidered very authentic historically. Mrs. Fisher is the wife of a uni- vcBsity professor in California and spent yeai's in research pre! paring to write the book. During the business session, which was 1 presided over by Mrs. F.

Mrs. Wall is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henderson. Upon arrival at the church the guests were greeted by Mrs.

Grant Morey and Mrs. Robert Kerr, then each signed the guest book which was a gift to Mrs. Henderson from the Womans Society of Christian service. After more than ITO friends had assembled Miss Valerie Harz played a musical prelude. Mrs.

Robert Hendoi-soii, as mistress of cere- monies, welcomed the guests and 1 presided during the program. With Miss Harz at the piano, all joined in singing "America The Beautiful," the Easter hymn "He Arose," and "The 0 1 Rugged Rev. J. Holland Vernon led ill prayer; Ward Morey played a saxophone solo accompanied by Mrs. Moiey; the primary room under the direction of their teacher, Mrs.

Bernece Bohnenblust, presented a clever play, "Helen Sees The little Elizabeth Vernon sang "Mary Had A Little Lamb" accompanied by her mother. Mis. Vernon; the boys' trio, composed of Dale Coonrod, Fi-ed- ric Fiser and Don Metzger, sang, "Siouz City Norma Jean Comptoii sang "I'm Waiting for My Daddy" accompanied by her father, Paid Compton; a true-to- life drama, "Moving Day" was inesented by an all star cast with Bertha Rost portraying the role of Cora Henderson, a Ann Drummet in the role of Leah Henderson Wall, and Wesley Lowe as Royal Henderson; the girls' trio, Betty Fiser, Maxine Fiser, and Joan Livingston, sang "Fuzzy Harz accompanied both trio numbers. The program closed with an appropriate poem "God Bless You Everyone" to which Mr. and Mrs.

Henderson responded with short talks. A welcome was given the returned veteians who wei'e present. A welcome also was extended to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schnelle and daughter, Patricia, who recently moved from Beaver, and will live on the farm which has been the Royal Henderson home so many years.

After a social period the guests were invited to the (lining room where the committee, Mi's. Ward Morey, Mrs. Robert Orr, Mrs. Roy Smith, Mrs. Lloyd McAtee, Mrs.

Grant Morey and their assistants, served refreshments. Jlrs. Henry Peterson poured coffee a Mrs. Keith Drummet served punch at a table centeied with a miriored bowl of jonquils and fruit blossoms and high lighted by gleaming candles on either side. The dining tables had bouquets of lilacs, tulips, fruit blossoms and jonquils.

Mrs. Clyde Miller and Miss Clara Gwinn had charge of table decorations. Out- of-town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kelly, Mrs.
