Father Ploof performed the ceremony. 'Maid of honor was Irene Sogge,. Minneapolis, iShirtey and Unda Sogge, Windoni, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. Flower girl was Diane Barber, niece of the groom. Roger Denton was his brother's best man.- Groomsmen were Alvin Doeskin, Merle Halverson and Gerald Langerman. Russ Barber Was ring bearer. Ushers were Gary 'Donahue and Russel Barber. Mrs. Donald Frank was soloist accompanied by Mrs. Adrian Heslap. A reception was held at 4 p.m. in the church. Mrs. Paul Matejka, Welcome, had the guest book. Mrs. Rudy Haack, Swea City, and Mrs. William Hiney, Sioux Falls, cut the cake. Table waitresses were Mrs. Marvin Weineke, Mrs. Dennis Ha'henser, Mrs. Richard Busse, Mrs. Don Hoppe, Mrs. Allen Rimple. In charge of the gifts were Mrs. Wayne Wards, Hills, Minn., Mrs. Merle Halverson, Allgona, and Mrs. Gerald Langerman. Following a wedding dance at Fox Lake Ballroom they left on a week in the Ozarks and southern states. They will live at 407 N. North Ave., Fairmont. She .is a graduate of Windom high school, DeiLyles Academy of Beauty Culture, and is a beautician in Fairmont. He is a graduate of Sentral high school and is employed in Charlie's D-X station. OFFICERS ELECTED The North Fellowship circle of St. John's Lutheran church, Depew, met Thurs- diay afternoon with Mrs. Morris Mitchell. Mrs. Harvey 'Henriksen'a'nd Margene were guests. Election of officers Was held with Mrs. Robert Huskaimp president and Mrs. Albert Mitchell, sec.-treas. Mrs. William DeWall gave devotions and Mrs. Albert iMitchell the lesson. Christmas 'boxes .were packed for Anna Marie Mitchell and the Gerhart Vorland family, missionaries in Japan. RALLY SUNDAY Trinity Lutheran church, Algona, will be host to the Algona Zone, Lutheran Laymen's League Fall Rally, November 19. The Rally will begin with a 6:30 banquet for League members. The public is invited to hear Dr. Walter L. Rosin at 8 p.m. on "The Church and the Modern World". Dr. Rosin was born Dec. 18, 1928 at Boyd, Minn. He is a holder of bachelor of arts, bachelor of Divinity, master of Sacred Theology, and doctor • of Theology degree. FILM IS DATED The public is invited to see the Church World Service Film, Thirtieth Parallel which will be shown at the Fenton Methodist church, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. This film is not a religious film. It is a film that shows the tragedy of those living south of the fateful Thirtieth parallel.
