He spent yesterday afternoon discussing the problems with Treasury and Health Commission officials. The conference was in response to a vigorous "Save Community Health" campaign and a protest by the Doctors' Reform Society. Community hoalth workers reas- community health service concerned has been forbidden to fill two of its four positions for psychiatric nurses. The service may also lose one of its two child health nurses.

Community health services in country areas have been hard hit. The Orange polyclinic, for example, has been unable to fill vacancies for a social worker, a health education officer and a community nurse.
