Dual exhausts, wood grained steering wheel and special handling components are optional, 1968 OLDSMOBILE 98 LUXURY SEDAN — Available in five different body styles, it is distinguished by its clean, elegant styling and unexcelled comfort Styling changes include new grilles, new side moldings and revised quarter panels and deck lid trim. All new 98's are powered by a 455 cu. in V-8 engine with a new power train concept for better mid-range performance, fuel economy' quietness of operation and durability. OLDSMODILE American Motors' new entry in the sporty car field is the sleek, low-profiled Javelin hardtop . . . standard or the SST model shown. Roomy inside with full 4-passenger setting, it's classic appearance is enhanced by fast-angle windshield, narrow 4ua pin stripes that follow graceful body contours and twin Venturi grille. Engine choices range from 232 six to 343 V-8. Through ventilation automatically changes air in the car continuously, eliminating window vents. New hood and ''airfoil"-type grille highlight exterior re-styling of American Motors' seven-model Ambassador line for 1968.
