The Church Shows The Way A lake at eventide—a small sailboat slipping quietly through-the water, taking full advantage of trie gentle breeze. A peaceful setting, we say, and it is. Everything about the scene has a quieting, soothing effect. Yet the same lake can depict the opposite of peace and quiet. When a storm is raging it is violence personified. It is then the wise boatman does not try to fight nature but observes all the rules. He takes full advantage of these Jaws of nature and does not try to sail his boat when to do so means the breaking of these laws. So it is with the Ten Commandments. Someone has said we can't break these Commandments, they .will break the one who tries to breakthem.' . !.:i:•>./,' .v.-< •.,.; ^. ..••• .. . - , ,,,, ,. . i ^lUllU^j, -..ii.; ......,, .i, ,.;;;; j .;,, ;•-,..
