Christmas bags being sought by Red Gross The.kossuth County Chapter of -.Red Cross announces •a>.reques.t for an increased quota of filled' and - unfilled Christmas bags for .Operation Shop .Early.; No '< member of the armed/forces in Vietnam must be forgotten this Christmas. The full quota of 160,000;.for the nation must be completed and ready for shipment between Sept. 15 and Oct. 15. This county's original quota was 95 filled and 50 unfilled bags. The unfilled bags are needed as a carryall for comfort items by servicemen in hospitals and ports of debarkatio(n in the Fat Bast. This project was presented early this summer to the 441 Clubs of Kossuth County through Margaret Pratt, Home Economist for 1 Kossuth County, as a community .service project.
