Wednesday she conducts healing services and Thursday she teaches Bible a metaphysical in-' terpretation of the Bible.

Friday she leads a' study group in Penasquitos, and Sunday works with the regular services at Teachings of the Inner Christ Church in Chula Vista. She has an office at home where she does counseling, but tries to keep Saturdays free. HOW DOES a blind person manage to travel about for such a varied schedule of activities? has lotsLnj; friends. "I used to have a myself as blind," says Rev. Lucille Chflds, assistant minister of the Teaching of the Inner Christ Church in Chula Vista.

"Rather I am inconvenienced by the lack of physical vision." 1 THAT attitude is typical of courageous worrfan who" accepted the loss of her sight following an ac-cident 23 years ago and went on to achieve a full and satisfying life style. Childs, 57, will be ordained Sunday by the Headquarters Board of Regents of her church, in ceremonies to be held at 2333 Albatross, San Diego. Rev. Violet Pease, pastor of the Chula Vista church, and Dr. Peter Meyer of San iego will conduct -ordination ceremonies.

This event caps years of during which Childs has had to call on all the inner strength she could muster. "ONCE I found it almost impossible to accept," Childs says of her blindness. "But I had children to raise and felt I owed it to them to bring them up the best way I could." She has five children, 11 grand children and An INVITATION!
