Seneca — The Everett Withams almost feel as if their trouble is double trouble. They are just in the midst of getting partially back to normal following the tornado which took several buildings on their farm in addition to house damage and the north roof from their large cattle and hay barn. To add to their troubles the tor- nadic winds that swept thru the Seneca area Friday night took the remaining south side of the roof and part of the barn. So now they again are busy cleaning up and William Dorsey came to their aid Saturday. Mrs. Fred Johannesen and Debbie took Carol to Milwaukee and visited a daughter and sister, the Jay Fulwilers, and then Carol left for New York City where she will continue her work. She recently returned home from an extended trip to Europe, Steve Fulwiler accompanied his grandmother and aunt home for a couple of weeks. The Alfred Petersens visited with the Elmer Friesths at Spirit Lake. Mrs. Clarence Cheever and family were Sunday visitors at Alfred Peterson's. O. R. .Patterson had a birthday last Monday and guests were the Ted Jensens, C. 0. Baileys, and the Alfred Petersons. The Patterson's daughter, Helen Gilchrist, St. Joseph, Mo., was also there. Their son, Wesley and wife, Chicago had spent the weekend with the Pattersons and the Holger Petersens, Algona, had been Saturday evening callers. The Roger Osborns, Carroll, spent Saturday evening at the parental Clarence Osborn's, and visited with their guests, the Hudson Potters, Rockford, 111. Sunday they attended a Kauffman reunion at the Swea City park. They were enroute home from Spirit Lake where they had spent a week. The Eugene Friesths, Badger, visited briefly at the parental Alfred Peterson's en- route to Spirit Lake for the weekend with the former's parents, the Elmer Friesths.
