Jim Thompson, of Waelder, a member of many state archeological societies, and well known throughout Central Texas as a speaker on Texas prehistory, will be the speaker. Dist Com England At Austin Meet Ralph England, Dist. 47 Commander and Vic. Comm. Charlie Fuleberg were among those-in Austin last week for the VFW -Midwinter Rouhd- up- speaker on Saturday was National Commander Timothy Murphy. Earl Rudder, Veterans Land Commissioner, was the morning speaker.

Chas. Stockdick came ipme from the Herman hospital on evening after spending a couple of days there following an acci- on Tuesday afternoon.
