Buckeyes Defeat Pirates With Touchdown, Point in Last Minute! i A storybook finish gave the C.ilmer Buckeyes their sweetest victory of the year Friday when they nosed out the determined Pittsburg Pirates. 7 to (i. It was Pittsburgh eighth straight defeat this season and GMiner's second victory in district play. Trailing 0 to 0 deep in the fourth quarter, the buckeyes took possession of the ball on their own 21! after a Pirate punt. With the team in spread formation James kepi the ball and raced clown the far sideline to the Pitlsburg 45.

This was a key play in the victory. The Buckeyes (and the fans) came to life and a drive was on.
