Something always happens at these nights, right out of an episode of Frontline except the participants are operating without a script I remember one such night I was put into a limousine to make a grand entrance with Ernie Dingo. And who was I seated next to? None other than Lindy Chamberlain. I kid you not But I digress. I'm hanging out for the 1997 TV Week Logie Awards because tonight belongs to one woman and one woman only.

They call her Kerri-Anne. And that's my tip. Kerri-Anne Kennerley for gold, with the other suckers left in her glorious wake. There's something particularly special about the renaissance of Kerri-Anne that gives heart to all women.
