Crookston Mrs. Lawrence R. Iteid Mrs. Joseph C. Walker WEDDINGS Salt Lake LDS Temple was letting Friday for the wedding of Miss Linda Kay Herbert and Richard Matheson Rands Jr.

Sevoy Boyer, former president of the London LDS Temple, officiated. A wedding breakfast at Brat- ten's Grotto and a reception at Parley's Third LDS Ward hon'. ored the newlyweds. Parents of the pair are Mr. and Mrs.

Elmo C. Peters, 2370 Stringham and Mr. and Richard M. Rands, 2690 Imperial St. Mrs.

Richard Bouck was matron of honor. Miss Marge Rands, Mrs. James F. Peters, Mrs. J.

Robert Garff and Miss Tina Baker also attended the bride. Best man was Darrel strong. Ushering were Bruce Jones, James F. Peters, ert Rands and Steven Rands. After a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe and San Francisco the couple will reside in Salt Lake 'J City where both continue WIGS their studies at the University of Utah.

Burnell S. Jarvis. Kennedy-Crookston St. Ambrose Catholic Church was setting for the Saturday wedding of Miss Janice Keri- nedy and Joseph A. Crookston.

Vaughan performed the ceremony. In the evening, they were honored at a reception at the Memorial House Reception Center, Memory Park. A wedding dinner at Log Haven also honored the couple. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Maurine Brinkerhoff, 1903 Westminster Ave.

Syphus-Reid Miss Carol Ann Syphus became the bride of Lawrence R. Reid, Friday in a Salt Lake LDS Temple ceremony. Gordon B. Hinckley, member of the Council of Twelve Apostles, officiated. Afterward, a wedding breakfast, given by parents of the bridegroom.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reid, Ephriam, honored the pair at Hotel Temple Square. That evening, the couple greeted guests at a reception on the Orchard Third Ward chapel patio. Hosts for this were the bride's parents, Mr.

and Mrs. E. Ross Syphus, 260 E. Center North Salt Lake. Miss Marilyn Syphus was- rnaid of honor with Miss Vicki Reid, Miss Gail Reid, Miss Marilyn Syphus and Miss Mary Syphus as bridesmaids.

Douglas Reid was best man. Ushering were Bruce Deeben, Reed Nielson and Robert Wingate. The couple will reside in Salt Lake City, where the bridegroom, will continue his studies at the University of Utah. He was graduated from Snow College with high honors and filled a LDS mission to Hong Kong. His bride has attended the U.
