Michael was the victim of a Verde River drowning accident on April 22, 1983. He was a native of Phoenix and 8 senior at Moon Valley High School.

Survivors include his parrents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Villegas; and his sisters, Car Ortega, Theresa Espinoza, Martha Heyberger and Jeannie Ramirez. Chapel of the Chimes made arrangements. Jack McDonald BUCKEYE Jack R.

McDonald. 64, of Buckeye, a car salesman, died April 25, 1983, while being taken to a bospital in Phoenix. Mr. McDonald was born in Butler, and moved to Arizona in 1947 from his native state. He served in World War 11.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa; daughters, Jaqueline McElhaney, Carol Painter and Deborah; son, Gary: his mother, Florence; two sisters and two brothers; nine grandchildren; and a great -grandchild. Services will he 10:30 a.m Thursday at the Buckeye Fu neral Home Irene Cox TUCSON Services for Irene Cox, 75. of Tucson, will be 1 p.m. today at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway, in Phoenix.

Mrs. Cox died April 24, 1983, at her residence. She moved to Phoenix in 1946 from Illinois and had resided in Tucson with her daughter for a short time. Christian, 63, who worked In farming and in sawmills, died April 24, 1983, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tucson. Mr. Christian, of Cottonwood, was born in Utica, moved to Arizona 19 years ago from White Salmon, Wash. He served in the Army during World War I1 and was a former member of the ican Legion and Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; daughter, Diane Denmark; sons, Terry, Dan and Jerome; a sister and four grandchildren.

D. Granado Jr. Dionicio Granado 70, a farm laborer, died April 25, 1983, at Maricopa Medical Center. Mr. Granado was born in Sweetwater, Texas, and moved to Arizona 33 years ago from his native state.

Mr. Armstrong, of 10327 Prairie Hills Circle, moved to Arizona in 1973 from his native Hot Springs, Ark. He served in the Navy during World War and was a member of the American Leand Lions Club.

Richmond Hutton Richmond Hutton, 75, a construction worker, died April 22, 1983, at a hospital in Phoenix. Mr. Hutton, of Phoenix, moved to Arizona 49 years ago from his native Oklahoma. Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae: daughter, Nancy; sons, Paul. James, Richard and William; two sisters and two brothers; eight grandchildren and seven great -grandchildren.

Mr. Del Castillo, of 8373 E. Via De Ventura Road, was born in Mesa and moved to California several years ago to work in the casket-manufacturing business. He returned to Arizona 18 months ago. Harris, 82, president of Strong Harris Mining Contractors, died April 24, 1983, at Maryvale Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix. Lawrence Harlan Lawrence L. Harlan, 89, a service salesman for Rudolph Chevrolet, now Lou Grubb Chevrolet, for 43 years, died April 24, 1983, at Glendale Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Harlan, of Phoenix, moved to Arizona in 1911 from his native Indiana. He retired in 1956.

Mrs. Hoag, of 10111 Cumberland Drive, was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Arizona in 1966 from New York, where she graduated from Mt. Sinai Nursing College. She was a member of the Sun City Weavers Club. Survivors include her husband, Kern; and a brother, Robert Horton.

Private services were arranged by Lundberg's Golden Door Chapel, in Youngtown. John G. Will SCOTTSDALE John Geoffrey Will, a Scottsdale attorney and former special counsel to the Arizona Streams Commission, now the Arizona Water Commission, died April 6, 1983, in Long Beach, Calif. He was 79. Mr.

Will was born in London and moved to New York in 1920. He graduated from Columbia University and George Washington University Law School and became general counsel to the Upper Colorado River Commission in Denver in 1950. He moved to Phoenix in 1955 to become special counsel to the Arizona Streams Commission. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Jeanne Spencer; three grandchildren and a great-grandson. Private services were in Long Beach.

C. Christensen Jr. MESA Charles Edward Christensen 65, a grocer for Low Cost Discount Marts for 22 years, died April 25, 1983, at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. Mr. Christensen, of 545 Clearview moved to Arizona 23 years ago from 1 his native Viborg, S.D., where he owned and operated a grocery store for 15 years.

He served in World War 11 and was a member of the Eternal Life Lutheran Church and the Golden Hills Golf Resort. He also was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Grace; stepdaughter, Deborah Nelson; sons, Charles E. Ill and James R. and stepsons, Thomas and Bruce Nelson; a sister and two brothers; and six grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Melcher's Mission Chapel, 6625 E. Apache Trail, Mesa. Fred S. Smith SUPERIOR A rosary for Fred S.

Smith, 64, will be said at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Superior. Mr. Smith was killed Jan.

30, 1983, southeast of Eloy. He was a former legislator and was an attorney in his native Superior. He served in World War I1 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Rotary Club and was an Elk. Survivors include his sister, Anna Vaughn; and his brother, Harry E. Norma Mae Dwinell MESA Norma Mae Dwinell, 82, of 234 Leisure World, died April at Desert Samaritan Hospital. Mrs. Dwinell was born in Johnstown, Ohio, and moved to Arizona four years ago from Fort Collins, Colo. Freda Smalley MESA Freda E. Smal- ley, 63, cosmetologist, beautician, buyer for and manager of a dress shop, died April 24, 1983, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital. Mrs. Smalley, of 8722 E. Delilah, was born in Oklahoma and moved to Arizona four years ago from Oceanside, Calif.

Survivors include her husband, William; son, Gene Curler; a sister and two brothers; and three grandchildren. Graveside services will he 2 p.m. Thursday at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Apache Trail. Thomas Kelly MESA Thomas Kelly, 81, a former plumber at Arizona State University, died April 26, 1983, at Mesa Lutheran Hospital.

Mr. Kelly, of 303 S. Recker Road, was born in Liverpool, England, and moved to Arizona 14 years ago from New York City. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca; daughters, Rebecca Schmidt, Marie Cavaluzzi and Catherine Aviglano; son, Thomas; and 11 grandchildren. Services wil be 3 p.m.

Palmer, 93, a credit manager of a hospital in Kentucky for 30 years, died April 29, 1983, at Mesa Care Center. Mrs. Palmer, of Mesa, was born in Cardon, and moved to Arizona 23 years ago from Henderson, Ky. Survivors include her son, Jerry; two sisters; three grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
