This week's highlights Today Echoes Without End "The Holocaust," a discussion of the history of anti-semitism taped in New York with local KPNX news coverage of recent anti-Jewish incidents in Phoenix. 09 8 a.m. Masterpiece Theater "Kean," the life and times of English actor Edmund Kean, adapted for BBC from a play by Sartre, starring Anthony Hopkins. First of two-parts. 9 p.m.

Monday Holocaust "The Gathering Darkness," first episode in repeat of the series dealing with the lives of a Jewish family in Nazi Germany. (Q 7 p.m. (Episodes run nightly through Thursday.) Tuesday CBS Movie Can You Hear the Laughter? The life of Freddie Prinze, starring Ira Angustain and Kevin Hooks. QD 8 p.m. Wednesday Charlie's Angels Two-hour premiere of the series returning for a new season, this time with the newest angel joining the girls on the Virgin Islands.

8 p.m. Today the UHF station KNXV-TV is scheduled to go on the air on Channel 15. (Viewers must switch the set dial to the UHF marking and fine tune to 15. On some sets it may be necessary to switch antenna connections in the rear of the set from VHF to UHF for clearer reception.) Channel 15's Sunday schedule begins this morning at 7:30 and will continue until 5 p.m. when subscription service begins.

The weekday schedule is 11:45 a.m. until 7 p.m. The new station's signal covers about a 90-mile radius and should be received in about 90 percent of Valley homes. Friday Allan King Goes to Nashville The New York wise-guy goes into country music land. 10:30 p.m.
