Sine of Glendale Elementary School Unit Four will be 65 before the end of the school year and is scheduled to retire under district policy. Sine doesn't want to retire. Forty-one members of the Unit Four staff want him to stay on. So do 782 parents. So do 1,982 pupils at Unit Four.

All of them have signed petitions and submitted them to the Glendale Elementary School District Board of Trustees asking that Sine be allowed to continue working. The trustees have taken the qurstion of Sine's retirement under advisement and will announce its decision at a future meeting. They received the petitions this week. Supt.
