McKinney is the convicled aurglar who fled from a US Deputy Marshall in the driveway of the Smith bounty jail in Tyler, and several weeks later broke out of the Harrison County jail in Marshall, then a monlh laler he broke oul. of the Harrison County jail again. He was caught with Joe Nix, 25, and Silas Haddock, 21, in South Pillsburg, where McKinney resided at one time. Nix and McKinney have been convicted of a break-in of the Security State Bank in Ore City.

They also were charged with burglary of Newsom Grocery in Ore City, and several other area burglaries. Both are former inmates of the Arkansas Slate Penitentiary and McKinney has served time in the Tennessee pen. had been visiting in Kansas for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs.
