One of the Issues discussed was the Montana Milk Board's recent order Increasing the price of milk. Plans made at that meet- Ing Included a petition drive to gather public support In opposition to the price rise, petitioning the Milk Board for a On March 1 and 8 the Montana names of people who liad Indi- Stalewlde Low Income Organl- cated opposltlontothemllkprice Increase. The petition Indicated that the raise In prices would be Inflationary. It also mentioned that some mllkdlstrlbutorswere selling milk at below cost, a practice which subverts the purposes of the Milk Control Act.

Slandley and Havre Legal Services Attorney Don Marble argued that these practices should rehearing on the price Increase be investigated prior to order- and, In the event a rehearing Ing any price Increase. Is not granted, the taking of Standley also stated that he legal steps to halt the increase. On March 14 Statewide Low Income Organization Chairman Hugh Standley was In attendance at a regularly scheduled Milk Board meeting In Bozeman to present and defend the Montana State Low Income's petition. He presented approximately 1,100 against Ihe unwarranted and unjust price Increase. The rehearing was not granted bytheboard.

(Dally News photo) New Daytime Serial Launched VFW Commander to Visit By CYNTHIA LOWRY AP Television-Radio Writer NEW YORK (AP) NBC will launch on Monday a new daytime serial called "Another This must not be confused with NBC's most popular soap opera, "Another City," which until today was just plain "An- othar World." It is hard enough to keep the titles of daytime serials straight because none seems to give any clue about content. Now "Another World" is about to divide like a one-cell Paramecium. "Another is one type of what television calls a spin-off.

Thisonewillre- late in various ways to the established serial, including exchanges of characters and, occasionally, interwoven story lines. This type of program reproduction is hardly new. When "Peyton Place" was at itspopu- larity peak on ABC as a night- Ume' serial, CBS span its. "As tHe World Turns'" ojfihtoa new, prime-time serial simply by having the heroine ol the daytime soap opera, Lisa Hughes, go to a distant city to make a. new life.

The show did not do well, and It was only a matter of weeks before Lisa decided she liked life better in dear old daytime Oakdale. "Green Acres," launched several seasons back on CBS, was a sort of double spin-off. Creator Paul Kenning had a hit by putting country folk in sophisticated city surroundings- "Beverly Hillbillies "-sc he put the very urban family of "Green Acres" into a country setting. He also made them neighbors of his "Petticoat Junction" family, using some supporting characters in both shows and having the principals visiting back and forth. Jerry Pritchard, 42, of Missoula died in an ambulance en route to Missoula aboutSOmiles from the crash scene. Sheriff-Coroner Francis Tami elti withheld information on identities of the other three victims, but witnesses said they were believed to be a couple and a small girl.

Pritchard apparently was alone in one of the cars when it collided head-on with the other vehicle, which witnesses said bore Washington license plates. Tamietti said fire swept through the wreckage and two of the bodies were burned beyond recognition. Prtichard, whoreportedlycel- ebrated Ms birthday on the day of the crash, had been working as a cook at a truck stop in St. Regis. Tamietli said the accident occurred on a two-lane section ol U.S.
