Just think, two whole weeks without books, horns, teachers, lockers, classes and tests! Two wonderful weeks to sleep late, stay up till all hours and take an hour-or maybe two for lunch. Don't forget New Years either, all the parties and dances. Then it happens, it all comes to an end and it is back to school. Parole is over, and for another Five months we're encouraged to make good grades or stay another year! For seniors it is all over and for freshmen it has just begun. Molly Holmes Why Daylight Savings Time? After many hours of brain racking thinking, I believe that I have finally figured out the strategy of President Nixon's aides in coming up with Daylight Savings Time.

They probably all got together and decided to come up with a single idea which would save vast amounts of energy. for their reason! Are you ready, world? They all got to thinking about how many people in the country own electric clocks. I mean can you imagine? There 'are millions and millions of electric clocks that run twenty four hours a day. All these brilliant aides figured that by everyone moving their clocks up one hour because of D. S.

T. all the energy that would have been used running those clocks was saved. One whole hour of electricity for each of those millions of clocks was saved. How about that?
