obituaries GUSTAF A. GUSTAFSON, SAN BERNARDINO Gustaf A. Gustafson, 75, a resident of San Bernardino since 1957, died April 30, 1985 in San Bernardino. He was born on January 12, 1910 in Riverside and was a railroad foreman for Kaiser Steel for 23 years and an orange grower in Riverside during the 1930's and 40's. Survivd by his wife of 55 years, Mary of San Bernardino; son, George of Colton and Donald Seattle; duaghter, Beverly Banes of Highland and Carol Summers of Burbank and 1 Evelyn Johnstone of Redding; two sisters, Emma Dowell of Bridgeport, Wash.

and Vendla Siebenthal of Lindsey. 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Graveside services and interment in Montecito Memorial Park on Friday May 3rd at 1 pm. Pastors Mike Bauer and Steve Mason officating. Visitation will be in the Preston and Simmons Mortuary on Thursday May 2nd from 2 until 6 pm.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Fleet Reserve, Unit 129 of San Bernardino and was past-Chairman of the Ladies Division of the Fontana Chamber of Commerce. mSurvived by her daughter and son, Hazel E. Foisy and Francis W. George, both of Massachusetts; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service Friday at 9:30 am at Dickey Mortuary.

He was a former purchasing agent for the Santa Fe Railway where he was employed 44 years, retiring in 1970. Former member of Native Sons of the Golden West and 758th Railway Operating Batalion. Survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Patricia Wormhodt of Witchita and Karen Marcus of Kansas City; sister, Adelia Appleton of Redlands; two brothers, Clarence and Carl, both of San Bernardino; in addition to numerous grandchildren, many nephews and nieces. RONALD E. HUFSTETLER, PHOENIX Ronald Eugene Hufstetler, 52, a resident of Phoenix, AZ and a former resident of Bloomington, died April 30, 1985, in Phoenix. He was an iron worker for the Bechtel Corp.
