It was strongly rumored that there will be another caucus sometime this morning before 10 o'clock, the hour set for the opening of the legislature. There Is no talk in the air among the politicians now but the speakership fight. It is generally admitted that the precedent is dangerous a speaker at every special session, but it is also stated in connection with that, that the friends of Bradner made a mistaKe at the previous special session in allowing the election that took place then and that resulted in the election of the Cochise county statesman. In the Senate While the house members are ai! agitated with the speakership fight, ah is serene in the senate. The organization of that body will take place as easily and smoothly as it is possible for an organization to be perfected.

Senate Cennif. the president of the former sessions, will call the upper house to order this morning and proceed to ousiress as if nothing had happened. He has no ippositioa for the position, and ther--seems to be a general demand that he servo yqain. The only change in the offieership 0- the house will be that of the Judge McCullough has declined to run for the secretaryship "gain and Con. P.

Cronin will be elected secretary, it is said, without opposition. Mr. Cronin was journal elerU at the last session and also codified the journal of the senate for publication. He is known as an r'i'icient and popular secretary, and it is expected he will give like sat- 1- tactory service as he rendered in the subordinate position last year. The Morning Session In the upper house the morning's business will probably be all taken up with the organization.

The organization completed, a notification will be sent to Governor Hunt that the legislature is in session and is awaiting his pleasure. The governor's message, which is now off the press and which has been supplied to all the members of the two bodies, will then be read. It Is possible this will be read from the rostrum of the senate, the legislature meeting in joint session for that purpose. Governor Hunt has stated he will read the message himself. The Governor's Message Governor Hunt's message this time is the longest that has been ever sent to any deliberative body in the history of the United States.

It contains several1 thousand words, seventy-five divisions and several pictures. It is, according to Governor Hunt, an account of his stewardship for the past year, 1 0th of February You will find us some and sanitary Central Avenue. i our hand-uuarters on CHOP HOUSE Open Day and Night COLONIAL DAMES TOILET ARTICLES First prizes awarded at all State Fain On Sale At Boehmer's Drug Store Northeast Cor.
