Young of Ogden bar president Mr Wiesley is a member of the state public service commission He lias been a member of the board of bar examiners for some years Other members of the examining board are Wilkins Judge Will Hoyt of the Fifth district Nephl George Preston of Logan ii Holther of Ogden and Edgar Jensen of Salt Lake City who was appointed Friday A meeting of the board of bar examiners will be held soon to complete arrangements for the next examinations to be given in October Would Expedite Cases Members of the state bar board of commissioners meeting Friday at the state capitol approved a recommendation of the judicial council for expediting trials of district court cases in Salt Lake county District court judges from other districts will be requested to spend five days in Salt Lake City this fall to help clear up a congested calendar Some of the outside judges already have been doing this in past years The recommendation was made by Robert Judd chairman of the judicial council and Presiding Judge Allen Thurman of the Third district The council will continue a study of court calendars and the amount of work done in each court in an effort to equalize loads Reinstate Attorney A petition for reinstatement of Orson Matthews as a member of the bar was approved Publication of a pamphlet for stribution to civic organizations and others entitled Layman and the prepared by A
