THE GAZETTE, EMPORIA, KANSAS BEAT Clubs Mather News has been received of the death of Mrs. Glenn Stoff of Kansas City, the mother of William G. Stoff, 2015 Prairie St. Mrs. Stoff died Saturday Bjorsing in her borne.

M. Rowley oi Wauneta, Neb. Mrs. Rowley, the former Bess Hoover, was born and reared in Emporia and Emporia State College. Funeral services were held today in Wauneta.

ShelUm Services Set Graveside services will be held Tuesday, in the Cottonwood Cemetery west of Emporia, for a former Emporian, Warren E. Shelton of Vinita, Okla. The services, to start at 3:30 p.m., will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas Smith, pastor of the Seaman Baptist Church in Tcpeka, The Rob- erts-BIue-Barnett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr.

Shelton died Saturday morning, in a hospital in Tulsa, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident which occurred Friday evening near Vinita. The son of David D. and Mabel Smith Shelton, he was born Dec. 15th, 1927, in Emporia. He was preceded in death by one son, Warren Shelton his father and one sister, Virginia Green, and he is survived by three sons, Kenneth and Donald, both of Topeka, and David, of Tampa, three daughters, Guodrin, Ingrid and Michelle Shelton, all of Pasadena.

Allen Dies J. A. (Jack) Allen, 1319 Washington a retired Santa Fe Railroad employe, died Sunday evening in Newman Memorial County Hospital, after suffering an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roberts-Blue- Barnett Chapel.

They will be conducted by the Rev. Jack Barron, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Members the family have suggested memorial donations to the Heart Fund. Mr.

Allen had been a resident of Emporia since 1924. The son rf Arthur and Katherine Allen, he was born April 13th, 1692, in Marion, and he was married Clara L. Grimmett on Dec. 6th, 1930, in Emporia. He Was a member of the 1.0.0.

Albert Bingham Dies News has been received of the death Sunday of Albert Bingham of Wichita, whose wife, Henrietta Haynes Bingham, is a former resident of Emporia and a 1917 graduate of the College of Emporia. Mrs. Bingham and toree children are among the Burvivors.
