Ships 100,000 Chicks. C. A. Sims, proprietor of the Thorn-wood Poultry Yards and Hatchery at Crandall, fifteen miles west of New Albany, who has been hatching chickens by the incubator method on an extensive basis, is arranging to operate the business on a still greater scale next season. He soon will begin erection of a concrete building that will accommodate incubators of a total capacity of 72.000 eggs.

Up to this season Mr. Sims has hatched and shipped 100,000 chickens, and the season still has two months to run. It is "probable that the total hatch for thp season will reach 200,000. Items of Interest From New Albany Mr. 'and Mrs.
