Doyle Fenn have recently returned from Dill City, Oklahoma, where they visited Doyle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fenn, and Betty's mother, Mrs. Fred Simpson. Mrs.

Simpson returned with them for a visit to their home on Martha Street for a few days. Also visiting them are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ware from Yukon, Oklahoma. Mr.

and Mrs. John Old and family enjoyed a fun-filled 10 day camping vacation at beautiful Ink's Lake. Mrs. Rose Shultz has a very brave husband. He took their two daughters, Angela and Paula, and two of their friends, Janie Joiner and Linda Allen, for a two week camping trip in Garner State Park on the cool and clear Frio River in West Texas.

Rose stayed home and thoroughly enjoyed her two weeks of peace and quiet. Now that is my idea of a vacation. Mr. and Mrs. John Brown and family of Norwood Street had their vacation in Florida this year.

The highlights of their trip included a visit to the oldest city in the United States, St. Augustine. They saw many historical spots there including the old Fort, the Mission, and the oldest house and school in this country. They took a moonlight boat cruise, had dinner at a restaurant located on a pier where the patrons could throw scraps of food into the water for the fish. Lake Wales, Cypress Gardens, Cape Kennedy, Busch Gardens in Tampa, Panama City Beach, and the beautiful and peaceful Bok Singing Tower and Bird Sanctuary were all tremendously enjoyed, as were visits with old friends in St.

Petersburg, and Billings ly, and a tour of the French Quarter in New Orleans. "Spot," their dalmation, went with them and did just about everything they did. He is very frightened of thunder, and once during the trip when they went through a heavy thundershower, "Spot" jumped into the front part of the camper beside John, whom he idolizes, with an expression which could have only meant, "Look, can't you do something to stop this?" Mr. and Mrs. Brown celebrated their happy 20th wedding anniversary after their return home.
