4A THE BELLEVILLE TELESCOPE, Thursday, September 6,1979 Household Scrapbook 1 The United Methodist Church in Superior was the setting for the September 1 wedding of Lori Ann Allgood and Thomas Joe Clark. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allgood of Superior and Mr. and Mrs.

Ray Clark of Hardy. Officiating at the double-ring ceremony was the Rev. Marion Knoell. Decorating the altar was candlabra entwined the greenery and two brass wedding baskets with floral arrangements and blue bows. Musicians were Mrs.

Ralph Clark, aunt of the groom, organist; Jeff Poulos and Ruth Pusateri, soloists; Mrs. John Price, accompanist. The bride, escorted by her father and RYAN JENNINGS is the 8 month old son of Dr. and Mrs. Rick Kueker of Boise, Idaho.

Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kueker and Mr. and Mrs. Don H.

Anderson of Belleville. Great- grandparents are Mrs. L. H. Kueker, Mrs.

N. J. Ward. Mr. and Mrs.

H. S. Anderson of Belleville. given in marriage by her parents, wore a gown of silesta knit trimmed with venice lace and seed pearls with an A-line skirt that ended in a chapel-length train. She wore a two-tier finger tip veil that was attached to a camelot headpiece and carried a colonial bouquet of white daisies, pink rosebuds and baby's breath.

Maid of honor was Ruth Pusateri. Bridesmaids were Cindy Jensby, sister of the bride; Peg Avey and Daiia Stenson. They wore blue floral gowns. Mandy Jensby, niece of the bride was flowergirl. Ringbearer was Greg Doan, cousin of the bride.

John Clark was his brother's bestman. Groomsmen were David Allgood, brother of the bride; Lyle Jensen and Jeff Sothers. Ushers were Sam Clark, brother of the groom; Mark Brown, Kent Jensby, James Montgomery. Candlelighters were Jack Clark, brother of the groom, and Kaylene Sothers. Mrs, Donna Doan attended the guest book.

A reception and dance at the Superior Country Club hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clark followed the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were: Mrs. Donna Doan, Mrs.

Janice Montgomery, Mrs. Mary Lou Swanson, Mrs. Winnie Laughlin, Mrs. Bernice Montgomery, Mrs. Betty Zadina, Mrs.

Kaye Bouray, Mrs. Mary Erickson, Tammy Martin, Beth Jensby, Peggy Shrontz, Lynette McKeown, Billy Doan, Susan Williams, Sheila Clark, Lisha Hiatt, Jeannine Zeigler, Cindy Delka, Mrs. Cheryle Kimminau, Diane Montgomery. The bride is a graduate of Superior High School and is employed by Dairy Queen. The groom is a graduate of Republic High School and is engaged in farming.

After a wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Superior. Snow Shovel Rub a snow shovel with a candle stub or parafin to prevent snow from sticking to it. You can keep the shovel from rusting by wiping after each use with a cloth dipped in kerosene. Tongue Saver When you have a lot of envelopes to seal and stamps to affix, use an ice cube in a saucer as a moistener. Coconut If you have some unused shredded coconut on hand that has become dry and hard, place it in a large strainer and steam it over a pan of boiling water.

It will become moist and fresh within a few minutes. Oil Leak If you suspect that your car has an oil leak, spread some newspapers on the garage floor under the front end and run the engine for a few minutes at a slow speed. Any oil leak will show on the paper. Fuzzy Blankets An old hairbrush is ideal for taking fuzz off blankets. Using downward stokes, brush the blanket thoroughly while it is wet or after it has dried.

Novel Sandwiches Sandwiches that are "different" can be made by slicing and peeling an apple, then making a "sandwich" by spreading cream cheese with strawberry jam and chopped nuts between the apple slices. Real tasty! Scatter Rugs A scatter rug will stay in place if an old rubber bathmat is placed under it. Or, attach rubber inserts from jars under the By Roberta sides of scatter rugs. The undersides may also be sprayed with a rubberized spray. Storage Tip When storing rubbers and galoshes away, it is a good idea to stuff them with tissue paper to prevent the rubber from cracking and before storing, apply a coat of self-polishing wax to retard drying and splitting.

Cleaning Fur You can clean white fur or fake fur simply by rubbing it with some dry cornmeal, then brushing this out thoroughly. Easier Nailing When you find it difficult to start a nail in a place that is too high to reach with both hands, try this little trick. Press your nail through a small square of aluminum foil, then wrap the foil around the business end of your hammerhead, with the point of the nail pointed in the hammering direction. This will enable you to start your nail with just one hand. Effective Filtering You can drain sediment out of paint solvents or other thin liquids by pouring out of a bottle corked with steel wool.

Chermaks Honored For 25fh Anniversary The children of Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Chermak hosted a dinner and open house for their 25th wedding anniversary August 26 at the St. George Catholic Church in Munden.

Some Merchandise Quantities Are JEFFREY AND JEROME BUREMAN, the six year old twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. David Bureman of Cheyenne, are shown here with their grandfather, Ralph Bureman of Kinsley, Kansas. Mr. and Mrs.

Ralph Bureman are fornner Belleville residents. The twins' father Is In the Navy and will leave September 5 for an eight month tour of duty in European waters. Lorie Low and Kenneth Polak were united in marriage August 11, 1979 at the First United Methodist Church in Tahlequah, Okla. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.

Eugene Low of Tahlequah and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Polak of Belleville. The bride wore a gown of silk organza with Venice lace trim and a full skirt ending in a chapel-length train. She wore a fingertip-length veil trimmed with matching lace.

Matron of honor was Mrs. Anita Oaks of Tahlequah. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Cindy Low, Jay, Okla. Loren Polak, brother of the groom, Hazel Green, was best man.

Groomsman was Nyle Miller, Belleville. Ushers were Wayne Low, brother of the bride, Jay, Jim Etken, Springfield, Mo. Attending the guest book was Mrs. Janet Etken, sister of the groom, Springield, Mo. Assisting at the reception were Mrs.

Janice Coldwell and Valerie Copley, Open House In Republic Held For Kafhrinebergs (By the Republic Correspondent) Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kathrineberg of Republic were honored with an open house August 28 and the United Methodist church for their 40th wedding anniversary. Hosting the open house were their children: Mr. and Mrs.

Raymond Novak, Belleville; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marty, Herington; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kathrineberg, Salina; Mr.

and Mrs. Paul Kathrineberg, Edgemont, S. Dak. Doris Walter and Clarence Kathrineberg were married at the E.U.B. parsonage in Republic August 27, 1939 by the Rev.

Gertrude Pattibon. They have lived in the Republic community their entire married life. The reception table was decorated with a lace cloth over a ruby lining. Ruby candles flaked the three-tier cake, which was decorated with red roses. Assisting at the reception table were Mrs.

Ray Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kathrineberg and Debi Novak. Jeff Novak and Kyle Kathrineberg attended the guest book which was signed by over 150 Other assistants were Lisa Marty, Becky Novak, Lori Marty, Kelley Kathrineberg. Tahlequah.

After a short wedding trip to Kansas City, the couple will be at home in Tahlequah. Seaffle Couple Plan October Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Curits Hartzell of Seattle, Wash, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa, to David E. Mikesell, son of Mr, and Mrs.

Ernest J. Mikesell of Repubic. Miss Hartzell is a 1978 graduate of Evergreen High School in Seattle and attended Central College in McPherson. ii She is presently employed by A.M. Inr temational Office Machines in Seattle.

Her fiance is a 1977 graduate of Belleville and a 1979 graduate of Central College in McPherson. He is employed at First National Bank of Seattle. The couple plans an October 20 wedding at the Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, Seattle. Make a scrapbook of Telescope clippings of those things of interest to you and your family.
