Four years ago I hiula violi.ni-ttitolr of Bilious Fever, which lel my general neaiin in a wretctted condition, with great weakness at the Chest, a slight cough snper vened, which gradually increased in violence tnlil all the symptoms of Pulmonary Consumption became fearfully apparent: such as copious night sweats, soreness and swelling of the throat, hectic fever, hoarseness and often total loss of voice, a sense of suffocation and dreadful oppression, so that lor ten months together, it was necessary every night to prop me up with pillows almost in a sitting posture, bleeding from the Lungs, and at one time 1 threw op a full pint of blood. Such was my disirens, that I had to keep my throat constantly moist with some cooling liquid; and, to crown all, I suffered with violent palpitation of the heart. During my protracted sufferings, I used all the popular remedies for Consumption, but none" of them even so much as relieved me. 1 also bad Ihe advice, at different periods, of four good Physicians, who did nil thoy could for me, with no uvuil. In order if possible to procure at lea an abate- ment of my sufferings, a friend suggested tho use of your Compound syrup ol Tar. and bronchi me a bottle, and I could scarcely credit the evidence of my senses, at Ihe immediate and wonderful reliel it afforded inc. W. TERR ASS. MOIIISON'S HYGEIAN PILLS. Monthly Report of the Exeler Hygeian Dispensary to the British College of Health at London continued. D1SORDERSOFTIIE EYES.

Sarah Bell, aged 52 years, resided in North street; cured of iritis, or strong inflammation of the. left eye; the intolerance of light was so great, and the inflammation of so severe a nature, that there was little or no hope of saving the eye; however, after a few weeks' perseverance with s'rong doses of Morison's Pills a perfect cure was effected, and she continues qoilo well to the present time. The treatment in such cases, according to tho present practice, would have been bleeding by leeches, blistering, cold lotions, purgatives, very much qaestion whether, by each means, she would not' have lost her sight altogether. Bell's doses were five, eight, ten and twelve pills at a dose, every night, Nob. 1 and 2 al- tamely, ttjljl t'lLLIAM GREEN, aged 40.

Ho had been under the treatment of a surgeon of Exeter', who salivated him, and ibis is the usual mode of Ireatmentnccording to the present practice; but the disease got worse instead of better, from the mercurial action, and when the man came to Ihe Hygeian Dispensary he was not relieved. Suffice it to say, that one month's perseverance with Mori- son's Pills, in strong and varied doses, a perlect euro. w.

tureen took Irom seven to twelve pills of Nos. 1 and 2 every night alternately. CHARLES TODD'S child, aged 5 years, residing in Musgrove's alloy Exeter; cured of iritis, or nllaminution of the right eye. The intolerance of light was so great, that he was obliged to be con-6ned to a dark room. One month's perseverance with Morison's Pills, perfectly restored him, and he is now as well as ever.

Took the pills in doses of five and seven of Nos. 1 and 2 every night. W. WHITE, aged 63, residing in Hilliars-street, Exeter; cored cf impaired vision of long standing. White took from three to five and seven of Nos.

URIAH G1TS1IAM, aged 34, is by trade a carpenter or wheelwright, residing at Hontton Clist, four miles from-Exler; cured-of -consumption, afier having been three' months a patient to the Exeter Dispensary, and after having been pronconced incurable by thoao medical men whose care he was under at that institution. Previous to his going to the Dispensary he was under the care of Dr. Black- all, and Mr.

lacker, surgeon, both of Exeler. The medical men at ihe Dispensary considering his to be a lost case, informed his friends that notl'ing conld be done for him further than to give him something to ease the cough, and when I first saw l.im he was reduced 10 a shadow, and laboring under the worst symptoms of consumption, 1 never considered his to be a curable case under any treatment. However, suffice'it to say, i that after persevering for one month only with Morison's Pilla, taking from ten to twelve per diem, a cure was perfectly effected, and he is now Decome a stoat and strong man, and nag never been ill since, a considerable time having elapsed since his restoration. MARY ANN HOMPHREAS, aged 19 years and a half, residing at Heavitre'e, near Exeter; cured of consumption, of three year's standing, accompanied with the usual symptoms, night sweats, distressing coughi'with enpious expectoration, pain in the chest, general debility, and wasting of the whole frame. Sho persevered wiih Morison's Pills, in varied doses, for the space-of nine at the expiration of which time, she became quite restored, and is now grown quite stout and strong.

Began with three Nes. 1 and 2, every night alternately and increased to 5 at.d 6, and continued in these varied doses until well. EDWIN SNOW, aged 21years, by trade a carpenter, residing at Newton Popploford, twelve miles from Exeter; cured, of consumption by taking the pills for two months, other medical treatment haying failed.
