A Farm lor Sale. fwish to dispose of my Farmlying on the No-lensville Turnpike, 5 miles from Nashville, containing 3S5 acres. This land is rich abounding in Timber and Water, the surplus wood and timber would more than pay for the land if hauled to Nash ville, not exceeding 130'acres being cleared, and nine never failing so located us to water every part of the tract, rendering it very valuable as a stock farm. There is also an excellent water mill on the place. In addition I have recently discovered and fixed up a Chalybeate Spring, Professor Troosl has analyzed the water, and pronounced it equal to Bon-air or Beckwith's Springs.

The Physicians oT Nash ville can all be referred to, they have examined the analysis, and given the most flattering certificates of its medicinal The following extracts give some idea of their opinion of the water. "We would feel no hesitancy in recommending its use to all those afflicted 'with chronic diseases of the stomach, liver and-bowels, especially if tliere is much relaxation and general debility of the system. In Dyspepsia, Diarrhseas of long standing, Cachexy or Scrofulous affections, Intermittent Fevers of long standing, Gravelly complaints depending on indigestion, Chronic Rheumatism, and all cases of slow recoveries from acute diseases. In chlorosis or weakly females with pale faces, and general debility "The celebrated Chalybeate Springs ofTunbridge and Brighton in England, of Ballston Spa, Saus Souci Springs in our own country do not contain a larger amount of oxide of iron, which is the essential tonic in all such Again "We believe this spring will become a place of general resort for ali invalids requiring the use of Chalybeales, so soon as its locality shall be generally known, and suitable places of accomodation for the sick provided in tho neighborhood." Last season without any solicitation my house was crowded with visitors, nearly all of whom were greatly benefited or cured. The improvements are generally brick, and all of the most substantial order.

The DwellingHou.se has ten rooms, and with some cheap additions would entertain a large crowd. The location is remarkable healthy. I believe no place in Middle Tennessee presents equal 'inducements, but' my interest lies in the Sonlh, and am determined to sell. I will sell on time, or trade for Negroes, or properly in the city of Nashville in part. Apply to the undersigned on the premises, or address him at Nashville.

I will also trade one of Rowe's C'orn Crushers for large brood mares or mules. GEORGE W. FOSTER. Bee. 15, 1S43.

i-'or ihe Jiriiiili euiiec of li'jalth at Loiido.n June OBITUARY. Dikd, of Croup, on the 20th inst, CHARLES Pl'firiLEY, Infant Son of David T. Caroline l. six months. Thou weepeat, bereaved mother! Aye, weep! 'twill ease thine heart; He was thy loveliest one Still let God's will be done, E'en though he bid you part.

'Twas hard to lay thy darling Deep in the damp, cold earth: Hid empty crib to see His silent nursery Once gladsome with1 his mirth. To meet again in slumber His small mouth's rosy kiss, Then wahen'd with a start By thine own throbbing heart Mis twining ai ms to miss. Thou'k gay My priceless treasure! It almost broke my heart, When thou wert forced to go And yet for thee I know better to depart. God took thee in his mercy, A lamb, untasked, untried: He fought the fight for thee! He won the victory! And thou art sanctified! I look around and see The evil ways of men: And Oh, beloved child I'm more than reconciled To thy departure there.
