Beveridge said: let no man be deceived as to what intervention means It does not mean proclamations it means soldiers thousand American troops will be required to restore Cuba to the con dition in between the center of the city and the outlying districts As a result UPWARDS TEN PER CENT of the total trackage of the Detroit Railway IS MADE UP CURVES the existence of which involves a slower rate of speed inoperation in the interest of the comfort and convenience of passengers Qwing to the LOWER RATES ARE collected on the Detroit Railway lines many patrons who may be MORE CONVENIENTLY AND EXPEDITIOUSLY SERVED by the more direct lines of the Detroit Railway system now ride upon: the cars of the Detroit Railway system If the street railway ordinance proposed by His Honor the Mayor is given effect the ARES ON ALL THE STREET RAILWAY LINES IN DETROIT WILL BE UNIORM Patrons of the Railway System will have the advantage of being served by the most direct routes available to them
