can he found of Robert shattuckvof Detroit who was lost while hunting In Luce county during November In an official report to William Oates the chief game warden his men tel! the fruitless search they made Shattuck disappeared on November The party of Detroiters with whom was hunting made what they considered a thorough search and finally gave np the hunt An appeal to Oates to at least find the body resulted In the sending of four deputies into 'the vicinity on December 2 worked' over the ground until De cember 19 The report has th! at the close: all came to the conclusion that Shattuck must have been a stranger to the woods when he was lost In such a lo cality where there are so many old roads and grades any one of which would have taken him out It doe not seem possible a man could
