Navy during World War 11. He worked for the Atlantic Coant Line Railroad as radio operator, and later became an artul and art educator. He graduated from i Carolina Uiuver-uty with bachelor's degree in Art Educalkw and Mauler of Fine Arts degree from University of Guanajuato Inflfluto AUcnde. he smrd the faculties of several universities in the U.S. and Mexico.

His works were stiown tn numerous exhibit ions and are owned widely by public and private organizations, including National Academy of Sciencea, Washington, DC here he served as an Art Consultant for 12 years. As an Art Educator, he had a great impact on bit former students, many of whom are now profcaMonala in the Fine Arts field. Though he passed away, his art lives on. He was a loving hatband, father, grandfather, brother and fnend with a great sense of humor. Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Mazur and Jessica Reilly: three sons, Doug Jolley, Buck Reilly and Christian Jolley; two sisters, Barbara Ray and Thclma Dixon; one brother, Carl Jolley; and five grandchildren.

Mario Piacenza, 60, of Phoenix Arizona, died July 4, 200 He was in Modcna, Cladyi M. Brown, born October 19, 1916 in Heidelberg, Ken-lucky, cosmetol-ogtst with Revco and Smitty't-chaini passed away on July 4, 2001. She wa former dance edu i Pistol Club and instituting the D.A.R.E. drug-awareness program in Mesa Public Schools. A devout Catholic, he also was one of 25 people to be blessed by Pope John Paul II when the pontiff visited Sun Devil Stadium six months after Kotsur's accident.

He is survived by three sons, Kevin, Brian and Troy; a brother, Robert: and five i S. Anna, Italy on November 27, I 1940. He was a loving husband to I Susan J. (Ben- mmm nctt); loving father Los Angrlci, CA, and attended University High in West wood. CA, Harvard University and graduated from University of California at Berkley and University of California-Davis Law School.

Tom was staff attorney at the Arizona Court of Appeals from 1979 to the present He was preceded in death by his parents and his maternal grandparents, Robert and Sadye Marcus, kmg-ume Nogales residents, paternal grandparents Harold and Bertha Gordon of Massachusetts. Adam Walter Krentz, 79, passed away July 4th, 2001. Adam was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 12, 1921. After 32 years at Modern Tool Die Corp. in Cleveland, Ohio, he retired andymoved to Sun City West, ArizonaJwith his wife Dolores where they hfe made their home for the past 20 yews. Since then he has been an employee of Del Web Corporation and recently retired in June of this year.

He is survived by his wife Dolores of 59 years, his son, Ray of Seattle, and his daughter Carol of Strongsville, Ohio. Also survived by four grandchildren, Dena, Rick, Michael, and Jennifer, and six great-grandchildren. Adam was a loving and caring husband and father. Settling in Mason City, Iowa, she subsequently raised her children alone, eventually becoming a department manager for Sears. In 1959 she re-married to Joe Calember, remained in Mason City until the children were grown, then left Iowa, settling in Phoenix in 1973, managing apartments until Joe's death in 1990. In the last decade of her life, Flo was blessed with the support and love of many friends and family while she faced declining health. In 1991 she began a friendship with Herb Mortensen that culminated in their marriage on June 23, 2001, a also blessed with his two grandmothers, Maureen Melczer of Phoenix, In Loving Memory of Clara Mat lincob 22nd, 1907-Jidy 7th, 20(N) 8ur dearest Mother, frandmother and Great randmother. Steven Bryan Welch, 33, a Delivery Person for Domino Pizza, died July 4, 2001.

Steven is survived by his girlfriend Dawn Dickey, his mother Patricia Welch, sisters Lynn Ferguson (Clint), Karen, Debbie. He is also survived by his grandparents B.C. Evelyn Hagar, niece Shelby Elizabeth Ferguson, nephew Jacob William Ferguson, many other family members friends. He was preceded in death by father William H. Welch, grandparents Leonard Dorothy Welch Francis McNally.

Michael was bom March 22, 1975 in San Diego, California and attended Lookout Mountain Elementary School and Mountain Sky Junior High School in Moon Valley. Michael graduated from Brop by College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona in 1993 and then continued on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from Santa Clara University in California in 1997 where he met his wife, Karin, and was president of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Michael was blessed with many close personal relationships among his classmates and work associates. Michael began his career in the insurance industry -with the Phoenix. Arizona office of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in 1997 and moved to San Diego, California in 1999 to conU'nue working in the insurance field with the insurance brokerage firm, Robert Driver Company.

In October 2000, Michael and Karin relocated to Los Angeles, Where they enjoyed the company of many friends and where Michael furthered his insurance career as a sales executive with Euler-ACI, a subsidiary of Allianz Insurance. Michael was the descendant of a pioneer Arizona family. His great-grandfather, Joseph T.
