frontier She was bom at her house near Sandwich CanadaWest on January 22d 1806 Her father was Dominique Marantette and her name was Marie Archange Louise nanure ineir ancestors were from Normandie in rance and were among the first and most prominent pioneers of this sec tion of the country The parte deceased were passed nnnn tire Detroit River when they in their native beauty presented their most attractive and charming appearance Sffe was married at the age of seventeen to Mr Timothy Dcquindre a member of an other of the old rench families and she was left a widow with three children when
