Page 4, Daily Sitka Sentinel, Sitka, Alaska, Wednesday, October 26,1988 Police Blotter- Following are among calls received by Sitka police by 8 a.m. today: Oct. 25 An employer reported that one of his workers had not shown up for work in several days and had last been seen in a downtown bar. In Court Probation was revoked for Milton G. Kadake, 28, for violating conditions of probation and he was ordered to serve one year in jail on a previous charge of sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree.

His sentence included the recommendation that he be released from prison early to be able to attend a residential substance abuse program. Kadake was also sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 50 suspended, on a charge of driving with a license revoked. On a charge of driving with a canceled, suspended or revoked license, Kadake Iwas sentenced to 60 days, with 50 suspended, with the two sentences to inn consecutively. Kadake's license is So be revoked for two years. i Sitka Police Everett Johnson, 28, was charged jwith two counts of assault in the fourth Degree.

Police said they charged Johnson with one count of assault in connection with a domestic incident early today and another charge for allegedly fighting a police officer attempting to take Johnson into custody. Terrence Moses, 26, was charged with assault in the fourth degree. Moses is accused of striking Johnson at a party Tuesday Teresa A. Newman, 26, was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance in connection with a traffic accident near Halibut Point Road and Katlian Street. Police said Newman drove her 1979 Chevrolet into the rear of a another car which had stopped to make a left turn on HPR.

Newman cut her lip but the other driver was uninjured, police said. Damage to Newman's car was listed, at $2,500, with no damage listed to the other car. Emergency Calls At 1:05 a.m. today an ambulance was dispatched to Katlian Street and a man who had been involved in a fight was taken to Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital.

At 5:43 a.m. today an ambulance was dispatched to the 1500 block of Halibut Point Road to pick up a woman who had been the victim of a domestic assault. She was transported to' Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital. At 7:40 a.m.

today a fire truck was; dispatched to Coast Guard housing, but no assistance was required. 8:33 a.m. today an ambulance picked up a worker at Verstovia Elementary School who had been having breathing difficulties and transported him to Sitka Community Hospital. At 9:04 a.m. today a person was transported from Oceanside Trailer Court to Mt Edgecumbe Hospital.

police were unable to locate a man reported shooting a rifle near Indian River. At 3:24 p.m. a woman told police a man had run into the side of her car and fallen down in the street, but had refused to stay on the scene until police arrived. The owners of junked vehicles near the blockhouse, along the Nelson Logging Road and at Surf Trailer Court were to be given 20 days to move their vehicles before they were declared abandoned. A resident reported that two dogs running at large on Sawmill Creek Road had nearly been hit by a car at 4:28 p.m.

A resident reported that someone had broken into her boat and stolen $500 worth of pots and pans. Initiation Held Sitka Emblem Club No. 142 will hold initiation at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Elks Club. All members are asked to attend and wear formal attire.
