Wednesday, June 11, 1975 AL 2317 Legal Advertising ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of Phoenix Union High School District No. 210, of Maricopa County, Arizona at Phoenix, will receive bids for providing all labor, material, transportation and services for the Addition and Remodeling of North High School located at 1101 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix, Arizona, in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Each bid must be submitted in accordance with the bidding requirements, drawings and specifications on file at the office of the Facility Planning Division of the Phoenix Union High School District Services Office and available at the office of Gabor Lorant, AIA Architect, 2500 North 44th Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85008. Upon payment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each, up to two (2) sets of bids documents will be provided each bidder. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the drawings and specifications in good condition seven (7) calendar days after bid date. If additional plans are needed, contact the Architect's office: arrangements can be made to have reproductions made at the bidder's expense. Bidders are hereby notified that, pursuant to the Statutes of the State ef Arizona, the Board of Education has obtained from the Industrial Commission of Arizona the general prevailing wage rates of the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute the work.

The prevailing wages so determined are included as part of said Specifications and are Incorporated herein by reference; and it shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the Contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the specified rates 10 all' laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the Contract. Each bid shall be made out on a proposal form to be obtained at the office of the Architect, or accurate copy thereof, and shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond for five percent of the total amount of the bid made payable to the order of the Board of Education of the Phoenix Union High School District No. 210. Such check or bid bond will be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the, Contract if awarded to him and provide satisfactory performance and payment bonds and shall be declared forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful bidder refuses 10 enter into the said Contract after being requested to do 50 by the Board of Education. 226 of the District Services Office located at the above-mentioned address. The Board of Education of Phoenix Union High School District No. 210 reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in any bid: No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening thereof, and each bidder shall be an Arizona licensed contractor. The general prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft, type of workman or mechanic needed to execute the Contract, as ascertained from Industrial Commission of Arizona and on file therewith for the localitv of this Contract, is herewith incorporated by reference and made a part hereof, and such rates shall be mandatory minimum rate of wages paid by the Contractor and any Subcontractor under him to all laborers, workmen and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the Contract.
