Champlain, 49, professor of zoology and chairman of the science and mathematics division at Cochise be buried today in Eastlawn Cemetery in Tucson. Dr.

Champlain, who died Monday in his home, came here three years ago. He attended Mitchell Junior College in New London, and earned his bachelor of science degree at John Hopkins University in Batimore and his doctorate in philosophy at Ohio State University. Prior to coming here, Dr. Champlain taught at Mitchell. He was a member of the Entomology Society.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine; a son, Robert; a daughter, Mrs. George Faulkner, and two grandchildren, all of Tucson. Douglas Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mary E. Nichols PRESCOTT Memorial services for Mrs.

Mary Evelyn Nicholas, 52, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Nicholas, who lived in the Groom Creek Pines area near here the past two years, was killed Tuesday in an automobile accident near her home. Born in Arkoe, she had lived in Arizona the past four years.

She was taking a registered nursing course at Yavapai College. She had been a member of the Visiting Nursing Service in Phoenix for two years. She was a member of the Yavapai College Faculty Dames Society and the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, Judd two daughters, Mrs. Judith V.

Burnam of San Francisco and Mrs. Linda Jean Simmerman of Tucson; two sons, Donald of Tempe and Judd Karl, a student at Arizona State University; a sister out of state; her mother, Mrs. Sadie Coulter of Clarinda, Iowa, and four grandchildren. Hampton Funeral Home handled arrangements. L.

L. Zussman, public defender Services for Louis L. Zussman, 58, who was chief deputy public defender for Maricopa County from 1965 to June 1969, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback.

Cremation will follow. Mr. Zussman, 328 E. Willet-ta, was born in Boston and came to Phoenix in 1948 from Chicago. He died Tuesday in his home.

Survivors include kis wife, Ruth, and two sons, Michael of Phoenix and Laurence of Long Beach, Calif. Virgil G. Harden TUCSON-Virgil G. Harden, 51, district manager of Bekins Van and Storage here, died Monday. He transferred to Tucson 18 months ago.

M. Marden was a member of the Sunshine Kiwanis Club, Tucson Racket and Swim Club and Sales and Mark Executive International. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Virginia Ann of Tucson; his mother, Mrs. Anna E. Harden of Roseville, and two brothers and a sister out of slate.

Services and burial will be in Roseville. Adair Funeral Home here is in charge of arrangements. M. Pearl Link Mrs. M.

Pearl Link, 82, a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, died Tuesday in Phoenix Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Link, 3530 W. Mariposa, was born in Trenton, Canada, and came to Phoenix in 1959 from Flint, Mich. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs.

Pearl Clugston of Phoenix, a sister in Detroit and two grandchildren. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in Memory Lawn Mausoleum Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave. Entombment will be in Memory Lawn Mausoleum.

Albert A. Wolff YOUNGTOWN Albert A. Wolff, 73, an inspector for the Michigan State Insurance Bureau for 43 years, died Tuesday in Mountain View Pioneer Hospital. Mr. Wolff, 11818 113th Drive, was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars here and a Masonic lodge in Detroit.

Born in Chicago, he came here in 1961 from Detroit. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Moffatt of Phoenix; a son, Gene of Traverse City, five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Lundberg's Golden Door Chapel, 11211 Michigan Ave.

Burial will be in Sunland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society. Ella Belin Mrs. Ella Belin, 84, who was born in Johnsville, and came to Phoenix 12 years ago from Missouri, died yesterday in Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Survivors of Mrs.

Belin, 4933 E. Virginia, include three sons, Clyde of Phoenix, Joe of Taft, and William of St. Louis; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys McMullcn of Oklahoma City; two sisters out of state; seven grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m.

Born in Dundee, Scotland, he moved to New York at the age of 9 and attended Columbia University and the University of Arizona, majoring in engineering.
