II REPUBLIC Friday, January 25, 1985 The Arizona Republic Bll Mftttr Dwayne Cawthorne Sr. Dwayne Cawthorne 43, welder, died Jan. 23, 1985, at his Phoenix residence. Mr. Cawthorne was brought to Phoenix 41 years ago from his native Michigan.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela; son, Dwayne; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merwyn Cawthorne; and two brothers. Private services were arranged by A.L Moore Tom Fossmo GLENDALE Tom Fossmo, 90, a retired carpenter, died Jan. 23, 1985, at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Phoenix.

Mr. Fossmo, of Glendale, was born in Norway and moved to Arizona 26 years ago from Minnesota. He served in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Alma; daugh-ten, Esther Martineau and Doris Pierson; son, Robert; 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Services will be in Minneapolis.

A.L. Moore Sons made local arrangements. Ralph Martini Ralph Martini, 97, a retired construction industry laborer, died Jan. 22, 1985, at John C. Lincoln Hospital Health Center.

Mr. Martini, of Phoenix, was bom in Italy and moved to Arizona 14 years ago from Chicago. He had spent summers in Arizona since 1940. Survivors include his daughter, Josephine; son, Carlo; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Hansen Mortuary made local arrangements.

Merrill T. Annis Merrill T. Annis, 85, a retired owner of an air-conditioning company, died Jan. 22, 1985, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, i Mr. Annis, of Phoenix, moved to Arizona 38 years ago from his native Indiana.

Survivors include his daughter. Eileen; sons, William and Louis; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Camelback Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camel-back.

Obituaries Clyde T. Carmichael Jr. SUN CITY Clyde Talmadge Carmichael 73, a retired warrant officer for the Army, died Jan. 23, 1985, at Boewell Memorial Hospital. Mr.

Carmichael, of Sun City, was born in Dallas and moved to Arizona 12 years ego from Oklahoma. He served in World War II, the Korean War and earned a Bronze Star in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sun City, the Coin Club of Sun City, Sons of the American Revolution, American Legion and the Genealogical Society. Survivors include his wife, Erma sons, Clyde Roger E. and Timothy a sister, and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be 9 a.m. today at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Memorial contributions to Sunshine Services are Duane Mitchum GLENDALE Duane Mitchum, 69, a former salesman for Mountain Bell, died Jan. 7, 1985, at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Phoenix.

Mr. Mitchum, of Glendale, was born in Tempe. He was a member of the Tempe Masonic Lodge, Elks Club, Sun Angel Foundation and Mountain Bell Pioneers. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Irene; daughter, Brenda Willis; son, Robert; a brother; and a granddaughter.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the residence of Gladys Jones, 1023 E. Rowlands Lane, Phoenix, where friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Carr Mortuary made arrangements.

22, 1985, at a Phoenix hospital. Mrs. Garza, of Tempe, moved to Arizona from her native Minnesota. She had been a foster parent to displaced children and teens. Survivors include her husband, Tino; daughters, Joy McGlothlen, Sonnet, Moni-que Boyce and Janice Hazen; two sisters and two brothers; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at Tempe First Assembly of God Church, 1430 E. Baseline Road, where friends may call an hour before services. Tempe Mortuary made arrangements. Claudine M.

Troutman GLENDALE Claudine M. Troutman, 56, a personnel secretary, died Jan. 23, 1985, at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital Health Center. Mrs. Troutman, of Glendale, was born in Illinois and moved to Arizona in 1973 from California.

She was a member of the Toastmasters International Club and Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, David; a daughter, Sandra Davis; a son, David; and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Green-way, Phoenix.

Davis ARIZONA CITY Dunbar H. Davis, 91, a retired vocational teacher, died Jan. 22, 1985, at Desert Valley Care Center, Casa Grande. Mr. Davis, of Arizona City, was bom in Wellsville, N.Y., and moved to Arizona three years ago from New Hampshire.

He was a of the First Baptist Church of Arizona City and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Theda; daugh-. ten, Betty Gilman and Mildred Johnston; sons, Donald E. and Harry a brother; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be 1 1 a.m.

Chandler Heights Road, Chandler. -Rose Mary Walker WHITERIVER Rose Mary Walker, '26, a waitress and lifelong resident of Wbiteriver, died Jan. 17, 1985, at Maricopa Medical Center, Phoenix. Survivors include her son, Emery, parents, Cora and Leslie; three sisters and five brothers; and a grandmother.

20, 1985, from injuries Buffered in an auto accident on Highway 89. Mrs. Hoover, of Congress, moved to Arizona in 1971 from her native Texas. Survivors include her son, John; daughter, Linda; sons, James and Damon; two sisters and two brothers; and three grandchildren. Services are pending.

Arizona-Ruff ner Funeral Home, Prescott, made arrangements. Ruby R. Reed GLOBE Ruby R. Reed, 77, an Arizona resident for 42 years, died Jan. 20, 1985, at Desert Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Reed, of Globe, moved to Arizona from her native Montana. Survivors include her daughters, Marion Louise Gutowski; sister, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
