Recital Closes Concert Season Last night in the High School auditorium the last of a series of concerts under the auspices of the Hagerstown Co-operative Concert Association 1 came to a gala close with Carola Gitana, Spanish dancer ind Stephen Hero, violinist assisted by "Vadim Hrenoff, pianist.

The spirit of the fantastic Malagnena and the fiery Fandango to the gypsy Seguidilla and the stately constituted by a fertile brain in a superb body was recreated by La Gitana. She presented her dances with a pronounced advance- in beauty of posture, use of the hands and control of line. Her Malaguena was charming example of grace. The Juego de Capa, typical of Spain in the arena, was most effective and she presented many'other clever dances with charming costumes. La, Gitana, a petite brunette, -won the hearts of her audience from, the Beginning in a traditional number introductory to a program of Spanish dances until the finale.

Her audience showed its appreciation in applause which she responded to in a charming manner. Stephen Hero, talented violinist. was a delightful addition to the program. He executed in his playing- a rich and resonant tone and positive technical security. He performed with a nice differentiation of mood and character in his numbers.

Vadim Hrenoff, expert and discreet pianist, provided excellent accompaniment for the dancer and violinist His technique was good and he was master of his instrument at ail times.
