Have and am now serving on the following: committees of the House Agriculture, Education, Taxation, Highways, Health, State Government and am chairman of the following standing and oelect committees--Commerce and Industry, Relief, Patronage, President of the Federated Clubs of County and for aged. LEGISLATION--During my service In the letUlature there has been written more constructive and progressive legislation since the new Constitution In 1912. More good laws have been passed for the benefit of Agriculture, Labor, Business, Conservation, Schools, Universities, Welfare Activities, Safety, Banking and Building and Loan Safeguards, Social Security, Public Health, Protection of Depositors and Investors, and Laws in the interest of the general public, than in any previaiu This great human program of Legislation helped every MAN, WOMAN and CHILD IN OHIO. This is a ord for GOOD, CLEAN GOVERNMENT. No political opponent his ever criticized my activities In this great program, nor would be dare do so.

I have always FAIRLY represented the great average people of OUR COUNTY and OHIO. The welfare of the average rural cititen needs, at this time, more than ever, the honest efforts of TRD3D and TRUE EXPERIENCED LEGISLATORS. The Urban or City are returning their Representatives, year after year without end. SENIORITY OF SERVICE gives to those Interests the Important trolling committees and chairmanships, with the result that towns, and country Interests are secondary to their interests. The RURAL ELECTORATE can now only MAINTAIN their place in the Sun by returning TRIED AND TRUE EXPERIENCED PUBLIC SERVANTS.

The basis of my candidacy Is fundamentally my LEGISLATIVE WORK RECORD. Upon that record I stand. I voted for SIX tax reductions and NOT one tax increase. Sponsored 19 Bills and Seven Resolutions that were enacted. These laws were for the common benefit of the people.

An honest man IE the noblest creation of God. An honest Government is the noblest creation of Man. This is my pledge for your support. I pledge a continued record ef honest service and achievement for the people of Holmes County and Ohio. at the Democratic Party. Their resentment of such tactics will be evidenced by one of the largest majorities ever recorded in the County, estimated to be around 2500. Carver and Laird, candidates for State Senate and A. Lee Fair for Representative will all be given full support of the voters they realize that their ability, experience and friendly co-operation with the next Governor, Hon. Charles Sawyer will be necessary to assist him in carrying out his solemn pledge to give Ohio the best and cleanest Government of any State in the Union.

Bulkley for U. S. Senator and Thorn, Young and McSweeney for Congress will carry Holmes County by very large majorities because these three men think in terms of Ihe common man and support the humanitarian aims, ideals and accomplishments of the Roosevelt Administration. Holmes County knows that a Republican victory would mean a return of the old order which would deprive Ohio of its just benefits under the legislation of the Roosevelt Administration, would give the great State of Ohio a 70-30 Governor and wouid be evidence that the citizens of the County would desire an over-throw of the Roosevelt Administration and a return of the State and National Govern- mens to the dictates of Wall Sreel. Holmes County voters will go to the polls next Tuesday, ptaca their (X) the circle under the ROOSTER and return to their firms end business places, with the satisfaction that thev hav- done thrir part in maintaining the State and National Governments for the of the common people, rather than for the benefit of the monie-d interests.
