11 I TWELVE AND A HALF A BOX. The proprietor of this invaluable legacy of a fifcat man, has for some time failed to present Hum to the public in an advertisement. The reason is a plain one. So much has their use given satisfaction, and so strongly have they been recom mended one to another, that it has been utterly impossible to supply the demand, both here and for country agents. During the present month, more than two hundred gross, or any li i Ii 11 si a ci 1 IS si have been sold in this city nnd vicinity, and supplied to Agents throughout the I'nittd States and many deis have been on hand weeks before they could be filled.

A DREW OAKS respectfully informs the In-l hubitnnts of the city of Brookljn, and its vicinity, that he has established himself at No. 140; Fulton-street, opposite High-street, in said city where will be kept nt all times a large and superior nssorlment of Bureaus, Tables, Curled and Plain Maple Bedsteads, ready made Mahogany, Cheny, and Bilstead Coffins, together with all mcessary appendages for funerals. Hearses, with competent persons to take charge of them; mnv be had at all times. B.ooklyn, April 23 2awll Iiiscsiioit; Invention. THE FUCRATOK, OR TEMPERATURE REGULATOR an in-trument for regulating the temperature of any room, or place heated by stoves or furnaces, which pomises to be of the greatest service and utility.

The subscriber having purchased the patent right for the obove in strument, presents it to the public with the full conviction that it will command the attrn'ion of all who may Acquaint themselves with the mode and effects of its operation. By the use of the Eucrator, rooms in which stoves are used, may: without the least trouble, be kept nt any desired temperature, and thus the great objection to the use of stoves, be obviated, nnd a regular, pleasant temperature be gained heath as well as comfort will be secured i and these are considerations which should induce all to satisfy themselves of its utility, and the benefits which it promises to confer. In regard to fuel, it may he safely stated when wood is used, that on an average, not more than half the ur-ual quantity will be consumed, when one of these instruments is in operation where con is used it will not make quite so great a difference. The instrument is exceedingly simple in its ronstmclion, nnd entirely accurate irt its movements. Heretofore the great difficulty has been to secure an even temperature in places warmed by stoves, and great inconvenience has been suffered by the alterations from too hot" to too colli," and this fluctuating temperature but too often produces bad colds, this objection is entirely obviated by the invention referred 10, it can be adjusted so that any desired temperature can be obtained and constantly preserved without trouble or difficulty.

He has only to say farther; that those wh see the instrument and its operations, will not hesitate to acknowledge all thai has been claimed for it. Manufactured and for sale onlv hy the subscriber, GEORGE A. PHILIP, Feb. 27, 1844. tfd 83 Fullon-St.
