Firemen Establish New Record In Run To Fire Wednesday A record run made by the central fire station yesterday afternoon established a new mark for promptness and checked a blaze which, for a few minutes, threatened the plant of the Allison Spring company, located In the southeast part of town. The blaze started In machine room of the establishment and a fire alarm was turned in immediately. The alarm was recorded at 3:55 p. m.
