1 Lifting assorted articles from jersey dresses to headlights kept, thieves busy Wednesday night in Bakersfield and are being investigated today by police. Greatest loss reported was that of Howard Baldwin of Vallejo and Walter Button of Chico who left their car near the Kuftee Kup Cafe, 123 Golden State Highway, midnight and returned to find a $45 topcoat belonging to Mr. Baldwin, and suit, valued at and woman's $20' coat, belonging to Mrs Button, miBsing.
