Duane Veldhuis, 30, route 1, Zeeland. had stopped his car and backed into a driveway on the opposite lane of traffic when the car was struck by one driven by Donald Ten Brink, 23, route 1.

Montague Sheriff's officers said the Ten Brink car skidded 116 feet before the point of irnpact. Veldhuis, his wife. June and their three children. 8. Cheryl.

4, and Greg. 3, were treated in Zeeland Community Hospital for minor bruises and abrasions. All were released. Vogelzang Hardware 123-128 Zara Marcotte Succumbs at 79 FREMONT Zara Marcotte, 79, formerly of 127 West 14th died this morning at the Newaygo County Medical Facility at F'remont where he had been a resident since August of 1963. Born in Muskegon, the Mar- cottes came to Holland from Fremont in 1912. He was employed as a cabinet maker by the West Michigan Furniture Co. for many years. He was a member of St.

Surviving besides the parents are three sisters, Mrs. Fred (Saralyn) Wolters of Holland, Helen and Margie Vander Vliet, both at home; one nephew, Thomas Wolters; the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vander Schaaf of Holland.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mulder Funeral Home with the Rev. William Brink officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
