Visser, a native Iowa, is in his first year as President of the Teachers Col- tege. Dr. came to the Teachers College in January from Ball State University at Muncie, Ind. He succeeded Dr. John E.

King K. S. T. C. President.

He received his high school education at Grand Rapids, his -bachelor's degree from Hope College; and his master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Iowa. Dr. Visser has been on the faculty at Hope College, Grand Rapids Junior College, and Western Michigan University as well Ball State. Dr. and Mrs.

Visser are the parents of four daughters. Enrollment continues through Saturday and a reception for foreign students will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the Student Union.

A Union Activities Council dance at 9 p.m. in the Student Union will put the finishing touches a busy week. Day and evening classes officially begin Sept. nth. Admission to the Teachers College must be made through formal application to the Office of Admissions and Records.

Correspondence concerning admission at the undergraduate level should be mailed to the Director Admissions and Records.
