Paul Ashley of East McDowell. They are favorably impressed with Phoenix and the Salt River Valley, and have taken up their residence here for the winter. Lewis Hurst, Laverne Thayer and Raleigh Stanford were among the university students visiting their parents over the week end. Mr. and Mrs.

Edwin Keeler and Mr. and Mrs. Romalne Hill of Long Beach, California, are visitors this week at the Paul Ashby home. They will visit the state fair while here and later visit the Grand Canyon. The Methodist Men's Federation of Arizona will hold their quarterly meeting and banquet at the local church on Friday, November 16, at 6:30 o'clock.

A course dinner followed the business meeting. The Henry Brothers shows visited Litchfield Park last Saturday and played to a large audience. Litchfield High school basketball team will play Liberty next Friday afternoon. Old The Kyrene farm bureau held Its regular business meeting Wednesday night, when it was decided to sponsor a booth at the American Legion carnival in Tempe. The Kyrene booth will be in operation on Friday. November 23. and the exhibit will consist of cooked foods and other donated articles. Mrs.
