Junior and senior men chosen were Howard Cagle, Oxford, Lattie Coor, Avondale; John Cook, Wupatkl National Monument; William Hochgraef, Williams; Don May, Flagstaff; Charles McCoy, Ajo; Burton Miller, 728 E. Palmaire, Phoenix; and Tal Russell, Flagstaff. Formal initiation and a banquet for the initiates was held Friday evening in Vandevier'g Motel in Flagstaff. Kenneth Derifield, associate professor of science at the college, was the speaker.

Auxiliary Schedules Conference The Department of Arizona, American Legion Auxiliary, will hold its mid-winter conference in Tempe Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Willie Cowan and Mrs. Mary Kortsen are serving as chairman and cochairman of the conference. Registration will be held in the William Bloys Post No.

2, the American Legion Home, Tempe. A joint session of the American Legion and the auxiliary will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday in the American Legion Hall. Conference sessions of the auxiliary will be held afterwards in the Tempe Woman's Club. Jack Fine, department president of the American Legion Auxiliary will preside.

Mrs. Leslie McKinnon, national vice-president of the Western Division will visit the department officially and address the meeting. A banquet will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the new Student Union Building on the campus of Arizona State. Department officers and chairmen will be in attendance to give instructions and suggestions in their program for the year.

Officers and members of units in the state will also be present. Vows Read For Couple In California Vows were read at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 6 in St. Mathias' Church in Huntington for Miss Marie Ferance Sanchez and Jake Alarid.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Toney D. Sanchez, Bagdad, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs.

Jake Alarid, Santa Cruz, N.M. For her wedding the bride chose a ballerina length gown of white lace. A princess crown of white pearls held her fingertip veil of tulle. She carried a bouquet of white gardenias. Miss Lucille Sanchez was maid of honor for her sister.
